Top Publishers Hand-Selecting Amazon Brands to Promote this Holiday Season
This holiday season, top publishers are actively sourcing brands to include in their gift guides, newsletters, listicles, reviews, and more to drive high-intent shoppers straight to Amazon storefronts.
Here’s why it matters:
Amazon brands are seeing a 5:1 conversion rate compared to their DTC site
Millions of shoppers discover products through trusted publishers
Levanta is working directly with these publishers to introduce them to a small number of 7–9 figure brands.
If you qualify, your products could be featured in high-traffic placements that deliver predictable CAC and directly measurable sales.
Meta is going to stuff Midjourney AI images into your feed
Meta is partnering with Midjourney to license their aesthetic technology for use in its own models and products. The partnership involves a technical collaboration between Meta's research teams, suggesting more than just using Midjourney's existing product across Meta services. Meta has been investing heavily in AI "superintelligence" efforts to catch up to rivals like OpenAI and Google. The partnership ties directly into Meta's goals for AI imagery across its services, such as the Meta AI app, Facebook's post creation button, WhatsApp and Instagram chat generation options. Midjourney has gained recognition for its AI image and video generation tools, and as Meta builds out features like the Meta AI app's social feed, it is likely that Meta will rely on Midjourney's tech to help people make better-looking photos and videos.
Google’s first Gemini smart home speaker detailed in leak
Google has revealed a new Gemini-powered smart speaker at its Made by Google event, which will launch in four colors and can pair with a Google TV Streamer. The speaker will feature spatial TV audio, natural voice options, and support for Matter. Gemini will deliver the smarts, rather than Google Assistant, which will be available on existing Nest smart speakers and displays from October. The speaker is referred to as the "Home Speaker" and is expected to launch alongside Gemini for Home in the fall. An updated smart display is expected soon, as Amazon's Alexa Plus works best on devices with screens.
Netflix wants its partners to follow these rules when using gen AI
Netflix has issued guidelines for its production teams to avoid using gen AI in their content. The company believes that gen AI tools are valuable creative aids that allow users to generate unique media. However, due to the rapid pace of the gen AI space, Netflix expects all production partners to share any intended use of GenAI with their Netflix contact. The guidelines are based on five principles: outputs should not replicate or substantially recreate identifiable characteristics of unowned or copyrighted material, generative tools should not store, reuse, or train on production data inputs or outputs, and generated material should not be part of the final deliverables. If partners are unsure or know they are not adhering to the rules, they should escalate to Netflix for more guidance, as written approval may be required.
